Stratia Liquid Gold Sephora Review: A Product that Caused Breakouts

I recently started using Stratia's Liquid Gold as a final layer at night, hoping to lock in hydration and nourish my skin. Unfortunately, I noticed small whiteheads all over my face and one big cyst on my right cheek after just a few days of use. As someone with combo-oily skin, I found that the product was too much for me during the day, making my skin feel oily and shiny throughout the day.

Initially, when I first applied it to my face, it felt very nice and nourishing, but as the days went by, I started breaking out. The cream is quite thick, requiring four pumps to cover my entire face, and it has a strong scent reminiscent of mustard oil or cod liver oil, which may be off-putting for some.

She believed that the product may have been exposed to high temperatures during transit and gone bad, which could explain my adverse reaction.

Overall, while Stratia Liquid Gold has some potential benefits, it may not be suitable for everyone, especially those with oily skin or sensitive skin types. As always, it's important to patch test any new products and monitor your skin's response before making a long-term commitment.
